Road trip to Neo

We all visited Neo last weekend, except Nanay, Tatay and Jun-Jun. Nanay and Tatay wanted to come but we didn't think Tatay is up for an 8-hour drive (2-way) yet. He was brought to the ER a week before we went to Neo because of pneumonia and is still a bit weak. And Jun-Jun, well, he’s a different story.

Frankly I was so excited to see Neo again, though I was also nervous that he might not know us anymore. The moment we reached their place, I picked him up from his mother and he started to cry. Of course he did not recognize us, it’s been more than 3 months since he last saw us. But he did warmed up to us eventually, at least before we had to say goodbye again.

Neo, though had been in a hospital, had measles and allergies, is still a bright and happy baby. He was always moving about and playing. He crawl fast and always wanted to be in a sitting position or walking (held, of course). I missed him already. Maybe because I know it’ll be a long time before I get to see him again.

I wish Jun-Jun would realize how lucky he is to have Neo.

Anyway, since we’re already up north, we passed by Clark for some duty free shopping. I bought sweatpants for jogging (which I’ll write about next time) and of course chocolates and pistachios. It was a fun day, not only because we get to see Neo again, but because road trip with my siblings are always fun.

I miss Neo

I miss Neo. I was hoping we could visit him last month but it was a busy month so.. We haven't seen him in three months. I know he's changed a lot. I wish he still remembers us.

I was looking at his photos when he was with us and his face has really changed since he arrived at Pasig in September until he went back to Pangasinan in November. I'll have his photos printed so i can give them copies. I want him to remember his family in Pasig as i know we won't be seeing him that often. I hope we get to visit him next weekend.

Life goes on

Juvie's wedding got rained. Well, not like it's something new.. my wedding got rained too. Okay, mine was a little drizzle compared to what poured down last Sept. 8. But the good thing about Juvie's was that the emcees pushed through with the program despite the heavy rain. It was fun. And i was pleased that many complimented my dress.. but i'm pretty pissed because the deejay kept changing CDs. Can't seem to get through his head that the CDs we gave him contains the "sound" especially prepared (by me) for the wedding. ahrg! Buboy was very supportive. Again, he tire himself by being a volunteer errand man coming and going to the house to fetch something for the party at the clubhouse. The newly wed was happy and they looked great and their parents cried and the guests stayed to finished the party. What more can they asked for?

Neo came to attend the wedding though he only got to see the church ceremony. He stayed home during the reception party because of the heavy rain. We bought him a stroller and so Tatay always brings him along (when it's not raining) for his early morning walk. Neo is a good boy.. always smiling.. seldom cries. I hope he can stay that way always.

Saturday before the wedding Buboy and i were invited by Terry to spend the night at Taal Vista Lodge in Tagaytay courtesy of her office. Who can refuse? We lounge around the hotel and relaxed a bit before we were dragged to a road trip. Taal Vista is indeed a nice hotel. I plan to ask Buboy to book us in again sometime this year.

Well, some problem between Buboy and i popped up right after the big day of Juvie and Benny. We're okay now. But it gave us quite a scare. I realized a lot of things during that time.. and how much i love my husband is one of them. Now, we're moving on.. one day at a time.. but i know i have to do something. There are times between now and that day that i feel relaxed again and thought that perhaps everything is okay now and that nothing like that is going to happen to us again and i don't have to worry anymore.. but i know it's wrong so i force myself to stay focused and do what i must do. It's a bit hard really but hopefully what i'll do will save not only us but Buboy and myself as well.

Oh, and i know i haven't written anything about the "Ultraelectromagneticnight" but i guess a lot of things have been said about it already anyway.. what else is there to say? Well, maybe that we had fun though we felt bitin.

That's it.. life goes on.. and i dare myself to be an active participant of life from now on..

Neo Amitiel

We (Buboy, Tatay, Nanay and Weng) went to Pangasinan last Saturday to visit Neo. We were lucky to miss Frank by a few hours. Anyway, here are the first pictures of Neo, he's barely four days old.

I am now an Aunt

My brother is now a daddy and I’m officially an aunt! I was so happy when I learned that Mae, Jun-Jun’s girlfriend was pregnant… and now that she’s given birth I’m nothing but euphoric!

This morning when I learned that Mae was at the hospital and already into labor I got very nervous and excited at the same time. All I prayed for was a healthy normal baby for them. Baby Neo was born this morning. His daddy said he’s handsome. I can’t wait to see the new baby God sent here on earth. And I can’t believe how happy I am for them and the baby. It was like I never felt sad and mad and jealous and sorry for me ever in seeing some other couple have their baby. I am surprise myself. I hope and pray that baby Neo will grow up healthy, good and smart. And I pray that his parents become the good parents that they are meant to be for him. And of course I also pray that God will send us our own kurly miracle soon… because I never doubted that He will…
